Just after lunch and England are 136 without loss? That isn't anywhere in the rule book is it Richard? This matter should be investigated by the ICC as a matter of urgency.
Of course all Strauss and Cook are doing is setting up the innings so that the inevitable collapse to 197 all out will be as dramatic and harrowing as possible.

Gutted. I wagered my house on Betfair that it would all be over before they got to 200.
Phew. Good to see that they have started to disintegrate at last.
Freddie Flintoff? More like Freddie, get off!
We are just drawing Richard and chums into a cunning trap here. Great start, typical collapse in the middle, plucky rearguard action from the tail led by our gallant skipper. The Aussies will star to think that they may have a game on their hands when, without warning, we will deliver the coup de grace with an abject bowling performance and a humiliating second innings capitulation.
Look here, I live in a land where our test team is abject before lunch and then goes downhill in the sessions after lunch. At least your guys would have had a nice lunch.
And that was the convoluted point of this post - to highlight just one of the many similarities between our great countries.
I fear that all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve...
Nonsense, do not take that Liverpudlian line! It was a fine win, one to build on. This is a highly talented but ultimately fragile opponent. Confront the bully and he crumbles!
