I know insufferable is a word you like Jeremy and there are a few words I could tag on to that but this is a family show so I'll keep it clean.

Well, Ricky claiming the moral high ground is a bit like Genghis Khan expressing his admiration for free and open elections - so outrageous it actually seems credible (at least to the press).
And Genghis, a bit like Richard, was a warm, gentle and affable man who was simply misunderstood by everybody else in the whole world.
As you may have detected there has, at times, been a quite natural tendency for we colonials to take a united stand against the old imperial masters. Well, no longer! When it comes to the cricket; Rule Britannia! Send those sons of sheep stealers home as the vanquished, preferably extracting a tearful capitulation from Ricky shortly beforehand.
